Q: When is the market?

A: Thursdays, 4-7pm. Hours are shortened to 4-6pm in November and December. The 2025 season runs from May 8th through December 11th.

Madeira Farmers Market operates rain or shine. Follow us on Facebook/Instagram and sign up for our newsletter to get up-to-date information about market happenings, including any last-minute changes in market hours when severe weather is in the area.

Q: Where is the market located?

A: May through October, the market is held on Dawson Road at Miami Avenue, in the heart of downtown Madeira by the fountain. The market space is blocked off with orange water barricades during market hours. In November and December, the market moves to the Community Room at McDonald Commons at 7451 Dawson Road, 0.4 miles from our summer market location.

Q: Is parking available?

A: Yes, free parking is available in the areas shown on the Madeira Farmers Market Parking Instructions map. Parking is not permitted on Maple Avenue. We also have bike racks next to our information booth.

Q: Can I bring my dog?

A: Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome in the outdoor areas of the market. Please note that service animals are the only animals allowed in our indoor vendor area during winter months.

Q: Do I have to bring my own bags?

A: Sustainability is important to our market and our community! Vendors may have bags for their goods but bring your own if possible. Visit the information booth for a free re-useable bag if you are in a pinch! or buy a Madeira Farmers Market cloth bag.

Q: Where do the vendors come from?

A: All of our vendors are located within a 100-mile radius of the market. This ensures fresh, local produce and supports our regional farming community.

Q: How can I become a vendor?

A: We welcome new vendors! Please visit our Vendor Application page for information about the application process and vendor requirements.

Q: What kinds of products can I find at the market?

A: We offer fresh fruits and vegetables, herbs, flowers, plants, baked goods, dairy products, eggs, meat, honey, maple syrup, prepared foods, and artisanal crafts. Product availability varies by season.
